NOT "just like the record"

This is not a transcription of what you can hear in the albums. This is merely a set of "cover versions". Some of them sound awful if you play the partiture. A few of them are quite accurate, but most aren't.

I know, even "official books" are not a note-by-note 100% accurate transcription, but they are closer to the real deal and use it as a solid baseline. I have a tribute band and we acquired this for our keyboardist. It actually hindered us instead of help. Try another book if you want more precision

Love this sheet music

Highly recommend this music book for the diehard Journey fans. Especially loved the songs that weren't available previously. "Stay Awhile" is my favorite.

I received this book promptly in the mail, I'm just learning to read Piano music and have always loved Journey, this book has all of the songs I love by them, even though it slow going on my speed, the chords are spot on, I Love it, even my family is impressed with what I have picked up from this book, If your a novice or advanced player, this book is a must have to your music list, I Love It !

Lovers separated by deception meet again

The Second Time Around:

Falling in love for the first time is something a woman never forgets, and as much as Beth Prescott wanted to, she couldn't help remembering being head over heels in love with Jake Forrest. But that had been ten years ago.

Now Jake was representing the company that was merging with her own, and Beth knew she was in for trouble. How dared he stir up the painful memories she had put out of her heart long ago?

For Jake was determined to win her back, whether she liked it or not. She was his first love, and she was going to be his last.

I don't usually enjoy cheating books but this one was different. The heroine actually moved on and seemed to have a happier, fuller life then the hero. He made the mistake, she suffered but she got over it and survived. I think this is the only cheating book I have read where the heroine actually did move on and have a successful, meaningful relationship with another man instead of pining for the cheater.

Jake loved Beth but he slept with another woman because he was insecure and allowed himself to be tricked. They had been happy together but he believed she had been with another man and he wanted revenge. He starts a relationship with this woman and flaunts her in front of Beth to hide the fact that he is hurting from Beth's supposed betrayal.

It was so sad to read about Beth's heartbreak when she found Jake in bed with the other woman, especially when she had no idea why he did it. You feel her pain as she looks back and relives seeing him around campus with his new girlfriend, and when she is forced to call him for her father's sake but he is "unavailable" (the reason he was not available was a stomach-churning moment for Beth and for me!!). You also get Jakes perspective, when he realises his mistakes.

When they meet again Beth is a widow. Beth doesn't realise that Jake has spent all their years apart believing she cheated on him, so she can't understand his anger when they meet again. When the truth finally comes out he is stunned and truly remorseful. He wants to make it up to her and start their relationship again but Beth refuses. She was happy with her husband and loved him, she does not trust Jake anymore so he has to fight to get her back.

What I loved most about this book was reading Jakes perspective. This is the best example of a remorseful hero I have ever read. He is sickened when he realises that he is actually the one who cheated on her. He has always loved her and is determined to win her back, however the path to happiness is not always smooth and there are a couple of "unpleasant" surprises waiting for Beth.

All cheating books should have a heroine like this one!

This is one of the best cheating hero books out there. The h did not forgive him in two days. He had to work for her forgiveness and it took months! There was no sex, because the h did not trust him and told him so upfront. I loved that the h meet, married and loved someone else. Her husband was not old, impotent or a pshycho. He was a young, good looking, loving rich man! Yay! The h was bitter about what the H did to her and she was not too shy to tell him a few home truths.

This h behaves the way all the other h's in all the other books wish they could react. I wish amazon would have this in kindle format!

I first read this book years ago when it first came out.After reading it,I became a fan of Ginna Grey.I'm so happy to have found it again-after looking EVERYWHERE! The hero & heroine are college lovers who are parted by a bitter rival of the heroine & marries the hero herself.Years later,the heroine has been happlily married & widowed & discovers one of the employees of the company buying out her husband's business is none other than her 1st love.The road to happitly ever after is indeed rocky.You will have to read it to find out what happens to them.I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did!

I think this is a must have for MCAT test takers since it is actually made by the company that administers the exams. It has important details on how to prepare for exam day. But, I think it is dense and hard to read. I know the MCAT exam is not trivial, but this book as a sole "guide" is not really practical for studying. You are probably better off just taking a bunch of practice exams than trying to wade through this material. This guide basically makes it seem like you need to memorize a lot of random facts. I think that is not a useful way to study for the exam because then you are just shooting arrows in the dark and hoping you land on the question that gets asked. You may be better off pulling this material from the aamc website and focusing your money and efforts elsewhere.

Considering this Is to prep for the exam,it has data which accompanies when to take the exam but,it also includes factors that apply to weakness and strength of a med school applicant. As a paramedic student with an undergraduate degree this helped shape my test taking strategy. The kindle version is more paper friendly and is much easier to access on the go. this iteration of the book is a great improvement over the last.

great product. It not only mentions all the things needed to prepare for the Mcats but all the rules and stuff. Also it gives many chapters on the new parts of sociology, psychology and biochemistry. It gives practice questions but also gives outlines on what to study. This is the official guide so can be trusted more than Kapan, Berkerley Review, etc. However those other books are not as bad as well but this book gives a great summary of what you need to focus on for the new MCAT in 2015.

not a generic book

If Roseanne and Chris Farley had a child they would of named him Kevin, funny, middle class, definately one of kind. This books starts out with short observations that reminded me of a comedian doing a stand up gig in a comedy club...funny, witty and the stuff of daily life. Somewhere in the middle the mood changes and it becomes more serious and personal. The writer ends with more personal observations of every day life. It is a book obviously born out of a middle class kid who grew up in a family he loves with all of the struggles and joy that brings. I think most readers will see themselves in this book at some point, whether you agree with the writer or not. What I liked about this book is the writer is not asking you to agree with him, but instead to literally start a conversation..he even gives his personal email address and invites the reader to weigh in with their thoughts. So, let the conversation begin. Oh, and by the way Kevin I am one of the drivers you talk about in your book..so get used to it....we are here to stay.

Worth the read...

Funny and sarcastic, at times a bit dark, often eye opening and sometimes uncomfortable, but always truthful...a great look at life amid its chaos and distractions. Cochran's unique perspective, sarcastic wit and raw articulation resulted in a full-circle of emotions along this literary journey: I smirked, giggled, and laughed 'til I cried; I was shocked; I was sad; I got mad and called him a colorful name a time or two; and, I was forced to look within myself and some of my own thoughts and beliefs.

Excellent, enjoyable read!

An enjoyable, light-hearted and yet sometimes poignant take on life as a middle class "average Joe." I was able to get through the whole book during a round trip cross-country flight without putting it down and with my passenger neighbors wondering what the constant chuckling was about. The author's wit and sarcasm comes through on every page. You'll definitely be rubbed the wrong way on occasion, but will also feel that he is speaking directly to you most other times.

Love & Romance - Your questions - the book answers

This book is about 2-inches thick and the size of your hand. If you noticed this book on a coffee table, you would instinctively reach out and pick up this book. It would seduce any bibliomaniac instantly.

The first time I saw one of Carol's books I was instantly intrigued. When I picked up the book I had no idea how to use it. Of course, I'm not known for reading instructions. However, once you realize you are playing a "foretelling the future" game, it becomes an enjoyable treat. I don't take this too seriously. It is more for amusement value.

First you ask a yes/no type question while holding the book and concentrating on your question for a few seconds.

Then you place one hand palm down on the book's front cover and open the book when you feel the time is right.

The page you see will contain your answer.

So, I ask the book: "Will I have a romantic evening tonight?" Answer: "Watch out for Clinging Vines."

Since I love towers and castles this was amusing. Could this mean a handsome knight will climb up into the tower?

Answer: "Use your imagination."

Again, I ask: "Does my lover love me truly and deeply." Answer: "You're in hot water; make bubbles."

Mmm, I got that twice even on the second try the same page appeared. The fact that I asked about "deeply" and the answer contained the word "water" was interesting. Will I soon own a jacuzzi tub?

Answer: "Allow room for surprises."

I love Carol's books because they really work for me. She produced the original Book of Answers in 1998 and the book was then published commercially later that same year. It went on to become a best-seller.

I was one of the last people at a book signing party in Issaquah where Carol was just starting to put away the books. I became intrigued by these little books and found an Autographed copy. I opened the book and saw a few words on each page.

Fortunately Carol Bolt was there to save me and explained how the book worked. She is perhaps one of the nicest authors I've met. She is just as fun to talk to as her book is to read. She is a multi-disciplinary artist who has a passion for quotes and also incorporates words into her two-dimensional and sculptural works.

As soon as I knew the secret of how to play with this new book toy for my brain, I was laughing and had to buy the first book. Each book Carol writes just is more fun than the last. They have the intrigue of a magic eight ball, except way more answers.

Other answers include:

"What are you waiting for?"

"Keep it to yourself."

"You're going to need a map."

"It will be harder than you think."

"Could be good under different circumstances."

"Set a date."

Just be very careful what you ask.

65 pages general info on nursing the first time, good review, it covers all the basics a few b&w pictures. Info on w.i.c., breast feeding, weaning, at home, problems, working mother, diet, manual ex, colic. nothing else on other child rearing except burping. This book is an easy read.
I read it in two nights while playing online games.
